Why participate in Wofie?

1. You should participate in Wofie if you wish to strengthen your innovative and entrepreneurial skills. In 4 days you and your group will work your way from an idea to a business model with business potential. See the menu ‘For Supervisors’ for more information on the innovation processes that you will meet during Wofie.

2. You get to test your professional skills in a multidisciplinary setting much similar to real-life creative development processes. At the same time you gain knowledge of innovative concepts and methods of creativity processes useful for idea condensation in general.

3. If you participate as a free study activity you will receive 2 extra credits (ECTS) on your university diploma upon passing the course. If you participate as part of a curriculum course, the Wofie credits will be included in the credits you receive for passing your curriculum course and you will not receive extra credits. Passing requires full attendance all 4 days. You will receive a WOFIE diploma to enclose with your resume.

4. All business models developed at Wofie enter the competition for first prize. The winner and the two runner ups win prizes sponsored by our generous Wofie sponsors.

5. Wofie offers a unique opportunity to strengthen your network with other students and companies, who are active within the field of innovation, entrepreneurship and product development.

Who can participate?

Wofie is an offer to all candidate, post graduate, master and Ph.D. students at Aalborg University and Roskilde University (RUC). Also students from University College Northern Jutland are invited to participate. Both national as well as international students can participate as the working language at Wofie is English.

When is Wofie?

Where does Wofie take place?

Wofie takes place at Campus Aalborg, Campus Esbjerg and Campus Copenhagen and the three locations are connected through live video streaming.
